Eco Warriors
Eco Warriors Overview
Looking after the school environment and teaching others how to do similar is a goal of the Eco Warriors. This is done in a variety of ways such as encouraging the saving of energy e.g. switching off lights, and saving resources e.g. using less paper. Our Warriors have helped school to be awarded with the Eco-schools Silver Award. The school environment has been further enhanced with the support of the Eco Warriors with each class presented with its own plant to nurture, whilst the school pond and woodland areas have had attractive and informative signage to go with the woodland table and benches. We also have a large number of bird boxes and bug hotels to support our smaller animal friends which our Eco-warriors have placed around the outdoor environment of school.
