Living in a Democracy
In Year 4, we made Democracy come alive by holding our very own election during our PSHE/British Values lesson. The classroom was transformed into a polling station and the children had to produce their polling cards and photographic ID to be allowed to vote. The children were voting for a reward following their successful production of STAR WARTS earlier in the term. The manifestos from the candidates were certainly impressive and they fought a fabulous campaign.
