Amazing African Masks
In the Autumn term, Year 4 children had the chance to get practical with their learning about traditional African celebrations and how masks are used in this. Children were able to explore a range of different African masks, before designing their own in their sketch books. Once they had designed their own, they were able to use clay and acrylic paints to bring their designs to life. I wonder if the children will be wearing them for their next birthday party?
