Showcasing Practical Learning Nursery Summer - Science
A topic on ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ would not be complete without our children being able to experience the lifecycle of a caterpillar first-hand. The children (and adults!) were very excited to welcome 5 caterpillars to our class and enjoyed observing them regularly to see the changes taking place. The caterpillars enjoyed having some time out of their pot to stretch their legs and crawl on the children’s hands and the pure joy on the children’s face was heart-warming. We can’t wait to see them become butterflies and release them into our nursery garden!
