Showcasing Practical Learning Nursery Summer - Art
The children have really enjoyed learning about butterflies and about how their wings are symmetrical. We used different coloured paint to print some symmetrical butterflies and enjoyed exploring the new colours that we had made when the paints were mixed. The look of awe and wonder when the butterfly wings were unfolded, to reveal the print left, was wonderful and the children were very excited to show off their beautiful butterflies to everyone.
