TransPennine Route Upgrade
We had a visit from the TransPennine Route Upgrade team to talk to us all about the work that is happening on the railway line between Manchester and York. We watched a film and heard from Chris Madeley, who has written a story book all about it. We spotted our home town of Morley on the film and in the book too! We discussed the importance of the upgrade for both the community and the environment and our Eco Warriors chatted further to Chris Medley and Karl from TRU. They were each given a signed copy of the book for their year group, plus some copies for our library. Wow thank you to the Transpennine Route Upgrade staff, we are excited to work with you over this academic year!
